Julio Arias Makes Professional Debut

The Dodgers signed him from the Mexico City Diablos 11 days after he turned 16 last August.  In a league filled with 22 year olds the 16 year old Julio Arias pitched three shutout innings striking out six, giving up only two hits.  He struck out the side to open the game.  The Dayton Dragons were still able to beat the Great Lake Loons in 12 innings 2-1.
