Santo Aybar Signs with Brewers
Santo Aybar has signed for $400,000 (my bad - it was Jose Pena who signed for $400,000 on July 2) with the Milwaukee Brewers today. The signing doesn’t become official until he passes his age and identity tests. Aybar is from the Dominican Republic and received a nice birthday present with the $400,000 pay day. His 17th birthday is Saturday. At least we hope it is his 17th birthday. While Aybar is identified as a shortstop it is expected he will move to either third base or the outfield.
