Lions Win First Game

South Korean President Geun-Hye Park threw out the first pitch and the Samsung Lions rode the arm of Won-Sam Jang who pitched six plus innings giving up two runs in the Lions 3-2 win.  The Bears still lead the series two games to one.

The Lions called on Seung-Hwan Oh to pitch the ninth despite throwing four innings plus 50 pitches in the Lions loss in the second game.  He retired the Bears to pick up the save.

The Lions were the first to strike in the fourth courtesy of an error and a sacrifice fly to take a 2-0 lead.  The third run was scored on a wild pitch in he seventh.

Jang finally tired in the seventh, giving up a homerun to Sung-heon Hong.  He was pulled after a double by Jae-Wan Oh.  A single by Si-Heon Son off reliever Ji-Man Ahn pulled the Bears to within one.
