Firstbaseman - Tony Blanco (Yokahama DENA Baystars)

Second Baseman - Tsuyoshi Nishioka (Hanshin Tigers)

Third Baseman - Shuichi Murata (Yomiuri Giants)

Shortstop - Takashi Toritani (Hanshin Tigers)

Outfield - Balentien, Matt Murton (Hanshin Tigers) and Hisayoshi Chono (Yomiuri Giants)

Pacific League

MVP - Masahiro Tanaka (Rakuten Golden Eagles)

Best Pitcher - Tanaka

Catcher - Motohiro Shima (Rakuten Golden Eagles)

Firstbaseman - Hideto Asamura (Seibu Lions)

Secondbaseman - Kazuya Fujita (Rakuten Golden Eagles)

Third Baseman - Casey McGehee (Rakuten Golden Eagles)

Shortstop - Daichi Suzuki (Chiba Lotte Marines)

Outfield - Yuya Hasegawa (Softbank Hawks), Seiichi Uchikawa (Softbank Hawks) and Sho Nakata (Nippon Ham Figthers)

Designated Hitter - Michel Abreu (Nippon Ham Fighters)

Jun Hirose was given a special award by setting a new NPB record of reaching base in 15 consecutive plate appearances.  Both Masahiro Tanaka and Wladimir Balentien also set records for consecutive wins in a season (which got Tanaka in the Guiness Book of Records) and homeruns.  They got special commissioner awards.
