Eight Way Tie in KBO

In the only game action yesterday in the KBO, the Lotte Giants vanquished the Hanwha Eagles 11-2.  Catcher Min-Ho Kang slugged two homeruns in the win.  The Eagles held a 2-0 lead until the sixth inning when the Giants powered in six runs.  They added another four in the seventh to run away with the game.  The Eagles bullpen crashed and burned, giving up ten of the eleven runs.

With the Giants victory the KBO now sees eight teams tied with one win and one loss after two games of play.  Talk about balance.  The NC Dinos are the only team yet to play.  They open their season today with a series against the Kia Tigers.
