The Mariners are going to like what they see in Munenori Kawasaki, at least from what I saw from him in the Asian Series. He will not provide any power, but then I don’t see Brendan Ryan banging balls off the walls. He also has a solid glove and some lead off skills if they should get tired of Ichiro Suzuki and his barely over .300 OBA. He had five hits in the three games myworld saw him play and was solid defensively.
Next on the agenda for team Japan will be Hisashi Iwakuma.
