France Eliminates Spain in WBC

Ernesto Martinez drove in three runs leading France to a 5-3 win over Spain. Ernesto drove in two runs in the first with a single and a third run in the third with a single. Andy Paz also drove in a run in the first and scored a run in the third. Pierrick Le Mestre retired Spain in order in the ninth to pick up the save. His biggest out came in the eighth when he struck out Jesus Ustariz with the tying run on second.

In 2012 Spain shocked the baseball community by advancing to the WBC. This year they were eliminated in two games.
