Rouen Huskies Win Another French Championship

They are the New York Yankees of France, except they have not stopped winning championships. In a slugfest they outscored Templiers Senart 14-7, scoring a touchdown with an extra point in the fourth inning to take an 11-5 lead. The win gave them a 3-1 tally in a best of five championship series.

Enrique Sosa drove in five runs with an RBI single in the first, a two run double in the fourth and a two run homerun in the eighth. He finished the day with four hits. Louis Brainville contributed an RBI double in the fourth and a solo homerun sixth.

The Rouen Huskies have now won five straight championships. They were on a run of nine straight championships until Templiers Senart broke their run in 2014. The Huskies have now won 15 championships since 2003.
