Japan to Play Remaining Preseason without Spectators Because of Virus

Japan will play the remaining 72 games of their exhibition season without fans because of the corona virus concern. The regular season for Japan baseball begins March 20. This follows the Japan Rugby Football Union postponing 16 games over two rounds of its Top League season. It will be interesting their policy once the season begins.

The Olympics are scheduled for Japan in late July/early August and moves like these could impact plans fans had for attending the games.
